SAVE LIVES
Caring Haven Uganda proposes to establish a Community Hospital to provide accessible, affordable, and high-quality primary and secondary health care services to underserved populations in the target district. The hospital will offer maternal and child health, outpatient services, inpatient wards, emergency care, basic surgery, diagnostic services (laboratory and imaging), pharmacy, health education and outreach programs
Shortage of essential drugs, equipment, and qualified staff in nearby facilities.
High cost of private healthcare, making treatment inaccessible to poor families.
Limited diagnostic capacity (lab and imaging), causing misdiagnosis or delayed care.
Uganda’s rural and peri-urban areas continue to face severe healthcare challenges. Many existing facilities are understaffed, lack essential medicines, or are too far for residents. Maternal and neonatal mortality rates remain high, children suffer from preventable illnesses, and emergency care is often unavailable. Caring Haven Uganda, through its community outreach programs, has witnessed families struggling to get medical help, especially mothers and children. In emergencies such as labor complications, accidents, malaria, pneumonia, and infections delays in accessing care can mean the difference between life and death.
