Let’s Give Hope
At Caring Haven Uganda, we believe clean water is life. Many rural families still walk long distances to fetch unsafe water, leading to disease, lost time, and hardship. Our Clean Borehole Project is changing this by drilling reliable, safe water sources in underserved communities. Each borehole provides clean water for hundreds of people improving health, boosting education (especially for girls), and supporting economic growth through better hygiene and small-scale farming.
Provide Clean Water: Ensure every community has access to safe, reliable drinking water.
Promote Good Health: Reduce waterborne diseases like cholera and diarrhea through clean water access.
Empower Women & Girls: Save hours spent fetching water, giving girls more time for school and women more time for work and family.
At Caring Haven Uganda, our Clean Borehole Project is transforming lives and communities across rural Uganda. By providing access to safe and reliable water, we are reducing the spread of deadly waterborne diseases such as cholera, typhoid, and diarrhea, giving families the chance to live healthier and more dignified lives. Children, especially girls, no longer have to walk long distances in search of water they now have more time to attend school and focus on their education, paving the way for a brighter future. For women, clean boreholes mean freedom and opportunity. The hours once spent fetching water can now be invested in small businesses, farming, and caring for their families. Clean water also supports better livelihoods by enabling small-scale agriculture and livestock rearing, improving food security and income within communities.
Drill and Install Boreholes: Provide clean and safe water to rural communities struggling with water scarcity.
Conduct Water Surveys: Identify the most affected areas and ensure boreholes are placed where they will have the greatest impact.
Promote Health and Hygiene: Teach families about proper sanitation, handwashing, and water storage to prevent disease.
Empower Local Communities: Form and train local Water User Committees to manage and maintain each borehole for long-term sustainability.
